George Pinto, CPA, george@cpas-svac.com
has been in the accounting profession since 1985. He
began his career with the international accounting firm, Deloitte, Haskins &
Sells. A resident of Silicon Valley since 1980, he co-founded Silicon Valley
Accountancy Corporation and manages the accounting and auditing side of
the firm, serving emerging growth, high-tech companies, closely held entities
& family businesses as an interim-CFO or conducting ERISA audits. George teaches
the 401(k) audit class to CPAs through the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the California Education Foundation. In
addition to his busy work-load, George volunteers extensively in the community
with various, non-profits, including the San Jose City Housing Advisory
Commission from 1993-1997. He is the first recipient of the Gold Award from
San Jose State University for outstanding alumni service to the University
(where he teaches Business Ethics part-time). He was recently nominated for
the California Society of CPA’s Distinguished Public Service Award.
Milan Kojnok, CPA, milan@cpas-svac.com
has been in the accounting profession since 1989. He
began his career with a local firm and rapidly rose to Tax Senior Manager,
prior to co-founding Silicon Valley Accountancy Corporation and manages
all tax related matters for the firm. He specializes in corporate tax issues for
emerging growth, high-tech companies, closely held entities & family
businesses, including the areas of partnership and individual taxation. Milan
has provided extensive tax consulting in multi-state and international tax
issues for companies besides expat–inpat tax issues for individuals. When he
isn’t working hard as a strong advocate for clients, he is busy seeking new
adventures and traveling around the world. Milan believes in giving back to
the community and supports local charitable organizations.
